I haven't used HTML labels before, so I had not noticed this problem. Unfortunately, the graphviz library API is not clear at all on how to specify that a string is HTML or plain... I'll take a closer look to see if I figure it out. In the mean time, you could also post a message in the graphviz mailing list, asking them how to do this from the library API, instead of .dot files.
